FC Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen continues to set new records at the Club as his appearance against Mallorca in the 1-0 win on Friday was his 400th in a Barça shirt. The German international talked to the Club's official media about what the figure means to him and how he is "proud to have represented the shirt for so long."
"I always try to give my best for the badge and enjoy being out there on the field," added the Mönchengladbach born player.
Ter Stegen to set an example
With 400 games under his belt for Barça, Ter Stegen is the most experienced blaugrana in the current squad. For that reason, the German is trying to pass on that knowledge to his team mates. "I try to take advantage of the experience that I have and try to get it across to those who have just arrived or who have played less. I look to give my version of things and my experience," concluded the keeper.
