Xavi pleased with the reaction

FC Barcelona beat Osasuna 1-0 on Wednesday night, and following the game coach Xavi Hernández was delighted to say that "we were much better in attack and defence than we were against Villarreal. We need to get the ball moving around more, but we were generating chances and I'm happy about that. The team reacted, and that ¡s the most important thing. We played much better, but there is lot to improve in our football, especially breaking the opposition's lines."

Vitor Roque

"Vitor Roque is radiant and happy. That was one of the biggest positives. I am happy for him because he had chances in other games but didn't score, and today he did. He works hard, he gets forward, he'll do a lot for us. That goal will boost his confidence."

United for the cause

"The intensity was great, not just that of players but also the fans. They get ten out of ten again today. We need that union with the fans to finish the season well. The fans are always there to support us and we'll need them if we are going to fight for la Liga and the Champions League. That's the way forward, it was a very good response for Barça".

Ferran injury

"He's sad. He was in great form, he was mentally strong, and this couldn't have happened at a worse time. The tough fixture list has a lot to do with it, especially as we have had a lot of away trips in January."
