First team player Marc ter Stegen has successfully undergone surgery for his lower back issues. The procedure was performed by Dr. Amélie Léglise under the supervision of the Club's Medical Services, at Sports Clinic Bordeux Merignac. He is out and his recovery will determine his availability.
Until now, the keeper has played 17 competitive games this season, conceding 15 goals and keeping eight clean sheets. However, he has recently sat out league games with Rayo and Atlético Madrid, as well as the Champions League match with Porto. The blaugranes' next challenge is Sunday's derby against Girona at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
