A demanding fixture awaits on Sunday with Atlético Madrid the visitors to the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, kick off 9pm CET. Both Barça and Diego Simeone's side come into the game after important victories in midweek in the Champions League which booked a place in the last 16 of the competitions for the two clubs.
Returning to domestic matters this weekend, Barça will be looking to improve on last weekend's draw away at Rayo Vallecano. For the game against Atlético coach Xavi Hernández has named a 20 man squad in which goalkeeper Marc ter Stegen is not included meaning he will miss a third game in a row after his absence against Rayo and Porto. Gavi, who is out long-term, is the only other forced absence.
