Gavi and Ferran back at training
The Spanish internationals rejoin training as preparations for the match against Athletic ramp up
The squad is slowly coming back together for Xavi Hernández. The international break is almost over and players are returning to training to prepare for the next LaLiga game.
Today saw Gavi and Ferran welcomed back. The midfielder and forward played key roles for the Spanish national team during the Euro 2024 qualifying matches, with both starting both games, and Gavi scoring the winning goal away in Norway (0-1).
Work goes on at the Ciutat Esportiva
The blaugranas were back in this morning after yesterday's evening session, with all available first team players including Gavi and Ferran being put through their paces on the Tito Vilanova pitch. Astralaga, Mbacke, Darvich, Iker Goujon, Dani Rodríguez and Sergi Domínguez from Barça Atlètic all took part in the session too.
