Tuesday was a very special night at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. FC Barcelona beat Royal Antwerp 5-0 to get off to their highest scoring start to a Champions League since they beat Glasgow Celtic 7-0 in 2016. João Félix (2), Lewandowski, Bataille (og) and Gavi provided the second five-goal feast that the stadium has enjoyed in the space of just three days.
It's six and a half years since the Catalans scored five or more in two consecutive fixtures. That was in March 2017, when Luis Enrique's side actually did it an amazing three times in a row. A 6-1 crushing of Sporting Gijón (6-1) was followed by a 5-0 defeat of Celta and after that came the unforgettably majestic comeback win against PSG. That one ended 6-1. But you knew that already.
