FC Barcelona has one more player away on international duty after Ferran Torres was called up as cover for the injured Dani Olmo and Marco Asensio. The forward flew straight to Madrid to meet up with coach Luis de la Fuente and the squad, who are currently preparing for Tuesday's game with Cyprus in Granada.
Torres is joining club team-mates Gavi, Balde and Lamine Yamal. The latter made his debut in the 7-1 crushing of Georgia, and contributed a goal to the cause. Yeremi Pino of Villarreal was the other player who has been brought in as a substitute.
This is the first time that Torres has been named in a Spain squad under the new manager. He hasn't played for his country since the World Cup in Qatar.
