On 7 June, the new FC Barcelona Museum will open its doors to its first visitors after the change of location due to the building work at Spotify Camp Nou. Those who enter will have the chance to see the League trophy for 2022/23 in the display cabinet.
The Barça first team coach Xavi Hernández and captain Sergio Busquets presented the trophy to the Museum accompanied by Club president Joan Laporta and sporting vice president Rafael Yuste. The trophy takes pride of place alongside the Spanish Super Cup claimed this season in Saudi Arabia, as well as Barça's complete collection of silverware.
Also, midfielder Busquets left a signed jersey from the 2022/23 season and his boots as a reminder of his 15 seasons with the first team.
The new Barça Immersive Tour, ready
The trophies and mementos from Busquets can be seen from 7 June as part of the BARÇA IMMERSIVE TOUR, which will be available during the remodelling of Spotify Camp Nou.
Therefore, this will the main port of call for fans in Catalonia and around the world to take in Barça and its history. An exhibition replete with emotional content than concludes with an immersive audiovisual space that gives a glimpse of the excitement the new stadium will offer and which makes Barça more than a club.
