With every week, the blaugrana ribbons are looking more and more likely to be tied onto Liga trophy. It's a tournament Barça have not won since 2019, but if all goes to plan, it's going to be heading for the Spotify Camp Nou very soon. Here's are top ten of things to know about the ten last games.
1. Countdown to glory
There are still 30 points to play for, so the current lead of 13 points is far from definitive. But the fact is that as long as Barça win six of those games, the title is theirs. That is assuming that Real Madrid don't drop any more points. Because if the lead widens, then the requirements become fewer.
2. Parallel lives
Curiously, both the Barça men and women are in identical situations right now. They both have 72 points, and they are both 13 points ahead of second placed Real Madrid. But the women only have six games to play, meaning they could be confirmed champions much sooner than their male equivalents.
3. Fixture list
Half Barça's remaining games are at Spotify Camp Nou (against Atlético Madrid, Betis, Osasuna, Real Sociedad and Mallorca). The road trips still to be made are to Getafe, Rayo Vallecano, Espanyol, Valladolid and Celta Vigo.
4. Sant Jordi special
Of the ten games to go, perhaps the most enticing of all is the one at home to Atlético Madrid. Not only is the game being played on April 23, the day of the Sant Jordi holiday in Catalonia, but also because the visitors are one of the most in-form teams in the championship. They have just won five in a row and haven't lost since Barça were victorious at the Civitas Metropolitano on January 8.
5. Pichich-owski
Robert Lewandowski is currently the top scorer in La Liga with 17 goals, three more than Karim Benzema. The Polish striker would love to collect the 'Pichichi' award in his first year in La Liga.
6. Ter Stegen the wall
The Zamora trophy goes to the goalkeeper with the best record in the league, and after only conceding nine goals in 28 games, Barça's German stopper is fantastically poised to collect the award this season.
7. Defensive records
Barça have kept an amazing 21 clean sheets this season, although they need two more to equal the club record of 23 set by Claudio Bravo. There are also a number of best-of-the-century records that could be coming FC Barcelona's way.
8. Fortress Spotify Camp Nou
Of the paltry nine goals that Barça have conceded this season, just two have been in their own stadium. The first was the penalty converted by Joselu of Espanyol, and the second was Araujo's own goal in the Clásico.
9. With your support
Barça fans have been truly getting behind their team this season, as reflected by the excellent average of 83,148 seats being filled per game. That's one of the best tallies for years. But there are still five crunch games to go, so do keep coming! But we don't really need to ask, because we know you will!
10. First challenge
But as the cliché goes, there is only ever one game that really matters, and the next one. In Barça's case that's this Sunday at 4.15pm CEST, at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, home of Getafe!
