Sergio Busquets returns to the squad for Cádiz game

After Thursday's Europa League game against Manchester United, Sunday sees the return of La Liga action with the visit of Cádiz to Spotify Camp Nou. Barça will be looking to maintain their eight point advantage over second place Real Madrid with a victory over the Andalusian who took all three points in this fixture last season. 

To avoid a repeat of the 2022/23 season Barça coach Xavi Hernández has named a 22 man squad which includes captain Sergio Busquets who returns after missing the last two games due to injury. The full list is as follows: Ter Stegen, Sergio, Gavi, Lewandowski, Ansu Fati, Ferran, Iñaki Peña, Christensen, Marcos Alonso, Jordi Alba, Kessie, S. Roberto, F. De Jong, Raphinha, Kounde, Eric, Balde, Pablo Torre, Arnau Tenas and A. Alarcón.

Final session at the Ciutat Esportiva

On Saturday the players worked out at the Ciutat Esportiva for the final time before Sunday's La Liga clash. The available first team players took part plus Rafús from Barça Atlètic and Alarcón from the U19A squad.
