Jules Kounde played his first game for FC Barcelona in the 6-0 defeat of Pumas UNAM on Sunday night, coming on in the 61st minute for Ronald Araujo and looking very solid indeed as he helped his side to a clean sheet.
In his half hour on the pitch, we also got to appreciate how much he likes to move up and support the attack, as well as what he is able to do in the air. He also set up a fabulous chance for Aubameyang that only missed the net by inches.

Although they had already played on the US Tour, there were three other players her were on show in the stadium for the first time, at least wearing the blaugrana jersey. Man of the match Lewandowski and Raphinha both started the game, and played big roles. The Pole scored one and set up two for Pedri, while the Brazilian gave the assist to Ousmane Dembélé.
In the second half, Franck Kessie entered the fray in replacement for Gavi and also played a part in a goal, in his case with a fine assist for Aubameyang.
The only one of the five new signings who did not feature was Andreas Christensen. The Danish defender is having cervical problems and sat this game out.
