Raphinha to be unveiled this Friday

From 2.00pm CEST on Friday 15 July, Raphael Dias Belloli, better known as Raphinha, will be unveiled as a new Barça player. The agenda is as follows (all times CEST):

• 1:30pm: Private contract signing in the offices at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
• 2:00pm: Public signing on the Tito Vilanova pitch, followed by a photo session with the player wearing the 22/23 season first team jersey
• 2:45pm: Press conference from the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper press room

FC Barcelona and Leeds United Football Club reached an agreement for the transfer of Raphinha on Wednesday. The Brazilian arrived in Barcelona that same day, stating that "it's an honour to be here".

So, the winger from Porto Alegre will be officially unveiled on Friday. Born on 14 December 1996, Raphinha is a constant threat on the right wing. Hugely talented with the ball at his feet, he aims to beat his man with one-on-one dribbling. As a left-footed right winger, his natural tendency is to always try to get closer to the goal to provide an accurate cross for an assist or get a shot in on goal, precisely how most of his goals and assists have come to date.

He is also a dead ball specialist. The accuracy of his left foot makes him a very dangerous player on both free kicks and on the edge of the area from corners.
