Pedri takes best goal in La Liga 2021/22

In his own words: "When I see a leg in the way, I pull it back and shoot. From the moment I shot, I knew it would go in." That was Pedri's explanation after scoring a true work of art to give Barça a 1-0 win over Sevilla at Camp Nou. The fans in the stadium were left astonished, once again, by the magic from the young man from the Canary Islands. 

The game between Barça and Sevilla appeared to be heading for a 0-0 draw until the 72nd minute Pedri appeared on the edge of the area. The midfielder produced a moment of magic after receiving the ball from Dembélé to leave two opponents prostrate on the turf at Camp Nou before beating keeper Bono with a well placed shot into the corner. 

A wonderful goal, yet another to add to the collection of the Tenerife born. In fact after the game Pedri himself admitted that the goal was "very similar to the one I scored in Turkey against Galatasaray." 

Jordi Alba, in fourth place 

Pedri earned top spot in the ranking published by La Liga and another blaugrana also features in the top 10. Jordi Alba's spectacular volley against Atlético Madrid was ranked in fourth place in the top ten giving Barça a second representative amongst the goals of the season from 2021/22 in the league.
