Adama is lightning down the right, and there were plenty of flashes of brilliance against Galatasaray as he proved one of the most effective players for finding his way through the rock-tight Turkish defensive line. In fact, he set a personal record with eight dribble attempts, seven of which went fully to plan – an 87.5% success rate, beating his previous best set at the RCDE Stadium against Espanyol.
But despite his best attempts, Barça were unable to break down Domènec Torrent’s game plan and the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
Adama had the fans on his feet every time he came near the ball. The best of the chances he set up was the one in the 74th minute, and which ended up with Frenkie de Jong hitting the post, although if it had gone in, the linesman’s flag was up for offside.
"We’re not happy with this draw” he said after the game. “We’ll see what happens now at the Nef Stadyumu", he said after the game.
