Valencia v Barça saw Xavi's squad in good form, earning another vital three points. It also saw new forward Aubameyang score a hat-trick and join the long list of different goalscorers this season, now totalling 21.
Barça have scored 51 goals across all competitions this season, shared out among the following 21 different players: Memphis (8), Ansu Fati (5), Luuk de Jong (5), Aubameyang, Frenkie de Jong and Ronald Araujo (3), Sergi Roberto, Braithwaite, Pedri, Piqué, Ferran Torres, Gavi, Nico, Jutglà and Coutinho (2), Alves, Sergio Agüero, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Dembélé and Ez Abde (1).
Barça are the LaLiga team with most different goalscorers, followed by Betis (19) and Real Madrid (18). They actually lead the way across the five major European leagues too, with Inter Milan (20), Stuttgart (19) and Chelsea and Rennes (18) having the most different goalscorers in their respective leagues.
A recent FC Barcelona record
If we look at the past 10 seasons and compare the number of goalscorers, this season is already proving to be a record-breaker. The previous highest number of different scorers over that period was in the 2016/17 season with 20. Who's to say that the record won't grow in the coming months?
