Seven from La Masia in the second half

Seven is the magic number. That is how many players from the Barça youth system were out on the field in the second half of the 2-1 win away at Villarreal in La Liga. Leo Messi, Gerard Piqué, Sergio, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto playing in his 300th game for Barça, Óscar Mingueza and Ilaix Moriba were all out there on the field together.

There was also playing time for Barça B's Ronald Araujo in another demonstration of the youthful talent at the disposal of coach Ronald Koeman.

The last three games

All eight players mentioned - Leo Messi, Gerard Piqué, Sergio, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto, Óscar Mingueza, Ilaix Moriba and Ronald Araujo- have featured in Barça's last three matches, the boss showing confidence in them for the vital clashes in La Liga and in the Copa del Rey final.
