Preparations begin for the final

After winning the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Real Sociedad, Ronald Koeman's squad returned to training this Friday morning. The available first team players worked out on the Tito Vilanova pitch of the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. Those who were starters against Real Sociedad did post-match recovery work, while the rest played a training match against a mixture of Barça B and U19A players.

The next training session will be this Saturday at 6.00pm CET at La Cartuja Stadium in Seville. Before the session, a player as well as coach, Ronald Koeman, will appear online in a press conference from the press room at the stadium, as a prelude to the Spanish Super Cup final against Athletic Club (Sunday, 9.00pm CET).

The entire squad will travel to Seville this Saturday morning, and after the training session at La Cartuja stadium, the list of 20 players called up for the final will be made public.
