Whenever he speaks, Leo Messi makes the headlines. This Wednesday the Argentine tells the Catalan sports paper 'Sport' that he wants to put an end to the controversial summer and sends a message of hope and excitement: "After so much having happened, I would like to bring it to an end. All Barça fans have to come together and believe that the best is yet to come. I assume my mistakes, that if they existed happened to try and make Barça better and stronger."
After 17 seasons with the first team, Leo Messi also admits "bringing together passion and excitement will be the only way to achieve our objectives, always united and pulling in the same direction." The striker has a message for the fans too: "If at any moment anything I did or said caused a problem, let there be no doubt, I did it thinking about the best for the Club."
Despite the disappointing end to last season, Leo Messi is still hungry for honours: "Anyone who knows me is aware that I cannot play any other way but to win and give my all on the field. That is how it has been during my whole career and now it won't change. Right now my commitment to the shirt and the badge is total, it's still there."
