Getafe exercise option to purchase Marc Cucurella

Getafe CF have exercised their option to purchase the player Marc Cucurella and shall pay FC Barcelona the sum of 10 million euros. Barça hold the right to 10% of the sale of the player in the future.

Marc Cucurella is currently playing on loan to the South Madrid club, after going to SD Eibar on a similar deal the year before.

An FC Barcelona player since 2012, he rose up through the youth ranks to make his senior debut as a late substitute on 24 October 2017 in a Copa del Rey fixture against Murcia. This was the only time he ever featured on the field for the first team.
