Tests carried out on Monday at the Ciutat Esportiva have shown that the Barça first team player Samuel Umtiti has a bruised foot and his recovery will dictate when he returns.
Umtiti picked up the injury with the French national side meaning that he was unable to play a single minute in the team's 4-1 win over Albania in their Euro 202 qualifying game.
Back at training
The players that aren’t away on international duty were back at work this Monday on pitch 2 at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, with Junior Firpo back with the squad, who were also joined by Ansu Fati of the youth team.
Ernesto Valverde will be holding morning sessions this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, while Friday will be a late session in preparation for the game at home to Valencia at the Camp Nou (Saturday 9.00pm CEST).
