FC Barcelona are looking forward to the semifinals of the Champions League. After eliminating Manchester United in the quarterfinals with a great win in the second leg at the Camp Nou, Ernesto Valverde's team find themselves among the four best teams on the continent. The semi-final rival, however, won't be known until this Wednesday and will be the winner of the tie between Porto and Liverpool.
In the game at Anfield, the Reds won 2-0 thanks to goals from Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino, but the tie won't be decided until the conclusion of the second leg played at the Do Dragão stadium. It should be remembered that in the semifinal, the Blaugrana will play the home game first (April 30 or May 1), and the return will be in England or Portugal (7 or 8 May). The exact dates of the semifinals will be confirmed this Thursday.
As for the other semi-final, Ajax, after eliminating Juventus in Turin (1-2), will face the winner of Manchester City - Tottenham. In the first leg, Mauricio Pochettino's side won 1-0 thanks to a goal by Heung-Min Son, and this Wednesday everything will be decided in the return match at Etihad Stadium.
