Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been fortunate enough to play for both Barça (2009/10) and Manchester United (2016-18) over the course of his nomadic career, and he gave his opinion on the Champions League tie between the two sides from his home in Los Angeles.
The Swedish striker said that the game will be "very interesting, with two clubs with great history. It will be very attractive to watch."
Ibrahimovic paid tribute to Lionel Messi, who he says "makes the difference every time he plays," and singled out Paul Pogba as the man to watch for Barça's opposition. "He's the one who makes the difference for Manchester United," he commented, although he pointed to teamwork as being the key to getting through to the next round of the competition.
The man known simply as 'Zlatan' has fond memories of his single season at the Camp Nou, recalling that "wherever we went, people had great respect for the team," and explaining that he liked playing for Barça because "the team were very strong.·
