Barça will prepare for the 2013/14 season with games in Europe and Asia - the fifth time that the Club have vivited the Far East following trips ahead of the 2004/05, 2005/07, 2007/08 and 2010/11 campaigns. This year, the team will visit Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and Bangkok in Thailand.
From Munich to Norway
The team’s first game of the summer is perhaps the most attractive, with the trip to Munich to play Bayern on July 24th – the first time that the new Bayern coach Pep Guardiola will face his old colleagues.
Three days after the trip to the Allianz Arena, Barça will be Oslo to play Valerenga to celebrate the Norwegian club’s centenary. It’ll be the second time Barça have played against Valerenga – having won in the summer of 2010.
Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur
The Barça stars will leave Europe to head off for Asia a few days after the game in Norway, with their first game scheduled for August 7th in the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok against the Thai national team – the second time the Club have visited the Thai capital.
Three days later on August 10th, Barça will play a Malaysia select XI at the Bukit Jalil Stadium in Kuala Lumpur before heading back home to Europe.
