FC Barcelona have scored more than 100 goals this season in all three competitions after beating Athletic Club by 5-2 in the new San Mamés. As such, Barça can now boast 62 goals in the league, 25 in the Spanish Cup and 15 in the Champions League so far this season. Luis Enrique’s side have reached 102 goals after a total of 34 games, a figure that means they have scored an average of three goals per match. Furthermore, 17 different players from the squad have found the net so far in the current campaign.
Messi, Neymar and Pedro top scorers
The Argentine is the team’s top scorer with 32 goals in all competitions. The Barça number 10 has scored 23 goals in the league, 2 in the Cup and 8 in the Champions League. It is worth remembering that the man from Rosario has reached two landmarks figures this season. In the Spanish League, Messi surpassed Telmo Zarra as the all time leading goalscorer and in the Champions League he overtook Raúl as the leading goalscorer in Europe’s premier club competition.
Neymar has already improved on his figures from last season with the Brazilian already having 23 to his name this time around in all competitions. Pedro, for his part, is taking chances when they come his way with 10 goals in the Cup and the league.
The youngsters have also contributed
Finally, a Luis Suárez still settling into the blaugrana system has scored six times this season already. The Uruguayan scored the vital third goal in Barça’s 3-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain with first place at stake in their Champions League group.
Sandro, Munir and Adama Traoré have scored seven goals between them this season for the first team. Sandro Ramírez is one of the privileged few who can say they have found the net in the League, the Spanish Cup and the Champions League along with Messi, Neymar and Luis Suárez.
