FC Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu and player Leo Messi, along with director Javier Bordas, will be representing the Club on Sunday at the sixth edition of the Globe Soccer Awards, being held in Dubai to honour the great and good of world football in 2015.
Before the ceremony, Josep Maria Bartomeu will be attending the opening day of the 10th Dubai International Sports Conference along with other big names from the soccer world. The Barça president will be taking part in a session titled Football’s future challenges along with the secretary general of UEFA, Gianni Infantino, and the president of the ECA, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
In the evening, and during the gala supper, the different winners will be announced. FC Barcelona is in the running, among other categories, to be named Best Club and as having the Best Player of 2015. Barça was already named club of the year in 2011.
