A genetleman on and off the pitch, Thierry Henry displayed his full talent and elegance in his three years in blaugrana.
An exquisite striker who produced goal after goal, he joined Barça from Arsenal in 2007. After his time at Camp Nou, he packed his bags for the United States in 2010 to play for the New York Red Bulls. The Frenchman goes down in FC Barcelona history as one of the most iconic members of that amazing class of 2009 that won all six titles.
After eight glorious seasons at Arsenal, Thierry Henry finally came to Barça in 2007 among much expectation. He was regarded as one of the fonest strikers of his era and didn’t disappoint, scoring 19 goals in 47 games in his first season. It was in 2008-09 under Guardiola that he really peaked, with his 26 goals helping to the team to win the famous treble, to which the two Super Cups and the Clubs World Cup would later be added. Injuries put a halt to his third and final year with the club and in 2010 he ended up deciding to go to the New York Red Bulls in MLS. At Barça he played a total of 121 competitive games, scoring 49 goals. He finally retired from pro football in 2014.
