Roberto Trashorras entered the Barça academy from RCD Espanyol. From 1999 he played four seasons in the reserves, and in 2001 first team manager Carles Reixach used him in the Champions League game against Wisla Krakow. A few months later he played his first Liga game against Deportivo la Coruña at Riazor. In 2003 he left for the Real Madrid reserves, and following spells at Numancia, Las Palmas and Celta Vigo, Trashorras hung up his professional boots while playing for Rayo in 2018.
