Defender who played for Olot and Espanyol before joining Barça in 1988 and blaugrana for four seasons with a year spent on loan at Atlético Madrid in between, Miquel Soler was know as 'el nano' and was a physical and versatile presence in Johan Cruyff's squad. After leaving Barça he moved on to Sevilla, one of seven first division clubs that he represented during a career which came to an end at Mallorca in 2003.
