FC Barcelona and KAS Eupen have reached an agreement for the transfer of Moussa Wague, pending the signing of the contract, which will take place in the coming days. Wague, who passed the relevant medical tests this Friday morning, will train for the first time with his team-mates this Saturday morning at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
In his two seasons at KAS Eupen (2016/17 and 2017/18), the Senegalese played 23 matches between the Belgian top division and the Belgian Cup. Additionally, he took part in 17 Europa League play-off matches. Before arriving in Belgium, Wague was a student at the Aspire Academy and he had an outstanding 2018 World Cup with Senegal. A goal against Japan was the highlight of his three games, and it meant he became the youngest African to score at a World Cup tournament (19 years, eight months and 20 days).
