Real Sociedad B 3-0 Barça Atlètic: Defeat in Donostia

Defeat in Donostia as Barça Atlètic went down 3-0 to one of the teams towards the top of the Primera RFEF table. Even a debut for new signing Godoy couldn't help even up the score, as four game unbeaten run away from home ends.

Home side take the lead...

Despite a Joan Anaya goal line clearance and an effort hitting the bar thwarting their efforts, Real Sociedad B eventually took the lead through Garcia on 30 minutes. The blaugranes had the possession before the goal, but somewhat went into their shell afterwards, Brian Fariñas and Aleix Garrido carrying the best attacking threat in the first half. Neither Guillermo's efforts nor a debut for Godoy in the second half helped Barça Atlètic get the goal they needed to get back into the game.

It was actually Real Sociedad that consolidated their position, Dani Díaz making it 2-0 before Rupérez got the third. Tough blows that the blaugranes couldn't come back from, despite their best efforts, and the four match unbeaten away run comes to an end.
