Barça Atlètic have drawn for an extraordinary seventh time in a row, this time at home to Galician outfit Lugo.
After a patient start against a highly defensive opponent, who had nevertheless come closest when a shot hit the crossbar, Barça managed to edge into the lead when Unai Hernández struck on 18 minutes.
For the remainder of the first half it was the Catalans who were very much on top. But Lugo were a lot more proactive after the restart, and Diego Kochen was kept very busy in the blaugrana goal. It was after one of his finest saves, in the 65th minute, that Juan Rodríguez finally had him beaten from the ensuing corner.
Barça were the side that did most to find a winner, but sadly all efforts were in vain against an opponent that reverted to its earlier safety-first approach. And so continues a weird run in which Barça may not have been beaten, but they haven't been able to win either.
