Barça Atlètic 4-1 Sabadell: Winning run continues

That's five wins in a row for Barça Atlètic now in the Primera Federación, a 4-1 victory against Sabadell this time. A brace from Unai, plus goals from Mbacke and league top scorer Pau Víctor taking Rafa Márquez' side to 23 points and provisional first place in the league. 

Fast start

Barça Atlètic started very effectively, scoring three goals from three attacks. The first was a header by Mbacke on his debut in Estadi Johan Cruyff, the second was an opportunistic effort by the league's top scorer, Pau Víctor - his seventh so far this season - and the third was down to the desire of Unai, who kept going until the ball was in the back of the net.

Barça were in control against Sabadell, showing solidity both in defence and in possession, the only error coming from a poor pass from Marc Vidal during build up with Sander scoring to make it 3-1 before the break.

Unai settles the nerves

Sabadell took heart from the goal and attacked much more after the restart, Mbacke clearing off the goal line and Marc Vidal also a lot busier as the game was much more even. However, Unai came to the fore to settle the nerves cutting back after a mistake from the visitors to shoot powerfully to make it 4-1 for his brace.

The development side were being watched by Fermín López, who saw a superb blaugrana save to prevent a second goal for the visitors. The match then somewhat petered out, but that's completed five wins in a row in the Primera Federación, with a tough match away to Cultural Leonesa next.
