Nàstic Tarragona 1-0 Barça Atlètic: Last minute defeat

Barça Atlètic have lost their second game of the season at the home of Nàstic Tarragona and in the most frustrating of fashions when they conceded the only goal of a tight game in the 90th minute.

There was little to split the teams in the first half, with Barça looking especially decent in midfield but largely only creating speculative opportunities, and the home side finding the net only for the goal to be discounted for offside.

But Tarragona always looked stronger after restart after Barça were reduced to ten men when Fermin received a second yellow card and was hence ordered off. The odds then against them, and generally reduced to defending an away point, the blaugrana were holding their own nicely until Gorostidi's killer blow was delivered right at the last. After bounding back and forth in the area following a corner before the Tarragona man struck.

There had been threats before that, but until then Marc Vidal had been doing a wonderful of dealing with them in the Barça goal, with two particularly impressive interventions in the latter phase of the encounter.
