El Prat 1-2 Barça B: Vital three points

Rey Manaj and Konrad de la Fuente were both on the score sheet for Barça B in their 1-2 win against El Prat. Without Iñaki Peña, Riqui Puig, Collado and Ansu Fati; all called up for the first team, and the suspended Monchu, five players from the U19A side were drafted in: Ilaix Moriba, with his first start Barça B, Antonio, Konrad, Nils and Mika.

Despite El Prat's brilliant start, a penalty just before the half hour was dispatched by Manaj, handing the visitors the lead. However, the Albanian striker was sent off at the end of the first half after receiving two yellow cards.

Late, late show

The locals had the lion's share of possession in the second half and Jandro tried his luck with a free-kick, which went wide. The pressure eventually told against the 10 men, with Raillo's acrobatic header drawing the hosts level on 77. 

Konrad de la Fuente was brought on with nine minutes to play, and with time already up at the end of the game, the American set off on a solo run before drilling home a cross shot to win the match in the 92nd minute. It meant an 11th victory in the domestic competition and leaves Barça B in good shape ahead of their next match, at the Johan Cruyff Stadium against Villarreal B, Sunday, February 9 (6.00pm CET).
