Directors Josep Ignasi Macià and Sisco Pujol join the president

On Friday 11 April, a dinner was held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Penya Barcelonista de Fraga i Comarca Jaume Pallarés, attended by FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta, as well as Josep Ignasi Macià, Board Member responsible for the Social Area, Board Member Sisco Pujol, Social Commission member Lluís Pérez, and former player and Barça Players Association member Paco Martínez.

Before the president's arrival, the new premises of the penya were officially opened, with the aforesaid trio in attendance. Afterwards, with Joan Laporta leading the FC Barcelona delegation, a reception was held at Fraga Town Hall. The local mayor, Ignacio Gramunt, welcomed the guests, speeches were given, gifts were exchanged, and President Laporta signed the town’s Book of Honour. The group then proceeded to the Sotet Pavilion, where the celebratory dinner took place.

The president of the supporters’ club, Agustín Sorolla, gave the welcome speech, and there were also words from Claudi Bosch, president of the Advisory Council of Penyes for Southern Lleida and La Franja; Paco Martínez; and Ignacio Gramunt. Joan Laporta delivered the closing speech. Before dinner, commemorative gifts were presented and a video summarising the supporters' club’s 50-year history was shown.

Around 300 people attended the dinner. As is tradition, there was a ceremonial cutting of the cake and a group photo.
