Barça Innovation Hub event set to take place on 3 and 4 March as part of the Mobile World Congress, with in-person and online tickets available now

The 2025 edition of the Sports Tomorrow Congress, the sports innovation congress organised by Barça Innovation Hub (BIHUB), is set to take place on 3 and 4 March as part of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) with the slogan "Hold the roots, mold the next”. The main act of this year's congress and the focus of many of the speeches will be FC Barcelona's Center of Sporting Excellence, the Club's area responsible for coordinating the definition, development, and application of a high performance model for every sport in the educational and professional domains.

Medicine, performance, the Barça style, and AI

The congress will start on Monday with a session on how personalised medicine can prevent and help resolve injuries, and about how data is used to improve athletes' performance. There will also be sessions about disciplines such as physiotherapy, physical training, nutrition, psychology, and education, with the educational work undertaken with the sportspersons at the La Masia used as an example. The Barça style, women's sport, and artificial intelligence will also be discussed during the first session of the Sport Tomorrow Congress, with authoritative voices from the world of sport joining the professionals from the Club's Center of Excellence.

Once again and in collaboration with the FC Barcelona nutrition department, FC Barcelona's global partner Bimbo will offer a range of culinary creations during the afterwork of the first day of the congress, this year called “The Sandwich of the Champions”.

Investments, fans, and development of leagues

The second day, Tuesday, will address other topics linked to the sector of sports innovation, such as the latest investment trends in football and the new panoramas opened up to sponsors through digital means. Cultural changes among fan communities and the evolution and transformation of sports leagues will also be discussed on the second day, which will also see FC Barcelona's Official Cryptocurrency Exchange Partner WhiteBIT involved through a session about strategic opportunities in the world of crypto payments.

The Sports Tomorrow Congress is for any professional from the wide range of sports disciplines who wants to keep up to date with the latest developments in the sector. In-person and online tickets are available for purchase from the congress website.

A new development this year will see BIHUB go beyond the norm to have their own space in the MWC's 4 Years From Now (4FYN) section, an area that works as a shop window and a driver for start-ups at this international connectivity event.
