Men's team to wear the shirt with the British band logo in this Saturday's game with Real Madrid as part of yet another Spotify activation that has had a worldwide impact

This Saturday the team will be wearing an iconic shirt bearing the Coldplay logo for their game at the Bernabéu. This is the latest activation of the Spotify partnership, and is yet another that reached every corner of the globe. 

Fans can still buy the shirt sporting the emblem of the band inspired by ‘Moon Music’ album and also a wide range of branded products that have been launched in parallel.

Spotify, Coldplay, and FC Barcelona will donate the profits from these collections, both from the game shirt and the merchandise, to a joint project by the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the FC Barcelona Foundation, two entities that recognise the power of sport to transform lives.

Barça Matchday Playlist by Coldplay

To put sound to the Clásico, Spotify has published the Barça Matchday Playlist by Coldplay containing some of the band members’ favourite tunes.

Coldplay is the most played British band of all time on Spotify, with 11 tracks in the Spotify Billions Club, the elite group of most played songs on the platform. Coldplay’s tunes appear in over a billion playlists generated by users worldwide, with Barça fans in particular associating the song ‘Viva la Vida’ with the men’s team’s fantastic exploits in 2009, when the song was the soundtrack to a series of historic victories that shook the football world.
