Construction tour at the Spotify Camp Nou with the presidents of Limak and FC Barcelona

Joan Laporta and Nihat Ozdemir confirm the progress of the project and agree on the importance of intensifying work during this month, taking advantage of the permission of the City Council

This morning, coinciding with one of the regular visits of the president of Limak Construction, Nihat Özdemir, to the works of the Spotify Camp Nou, a joint visit was held with the president of FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta. Also present were Ebru Özdemir, executive director of Limak Construction, as well as other people responsible for the project, who were able to share first-hand the progress of the work.

The delegation, led by both presidents, toured different key points of the Spotify Camp Nou, including the first and second, as well as the foundation area where the future third grandstand will be located, and the already visible VIP rings. During the visit, they were able to see the important advances in the construction of the new VIP seats, as well as the personal seat license (PSL), a phase that is now practically finished. The temporary space allocated to the media has also been inspected, which will serve for news coverage of FC Barcelona matches while the works continue.

Another highlight is the state of the works related to the stadium's lawn, a process that is expected to be completed between the end of April and the beginning of May.

The president of Limak informed Joan Laporta that more than 3,300 people from 27 different countries currently work there, an example of the international dimension and complexity of the project. They also agreed on the importance of maximizing progress during these weeks, taking advantage of the special authorization of the Barcelona City Council to work 24 hours a day, which should make it possible to give a decisive boost to the works.
