Fenerbahce 75-83 Barça: Statement win

Barça pulled off a huge road win at Fenerbahce, bouncing back from a rough first half to dominate after the break. Parker (24 points) and Parra (15) led the charge, keeping Barça in the hunt for a top-six spot and a direct ticket to the playoffs with one regular-season game left. That one is on April 11 at the Palau, where Virtus will be the guests.

Fenerbahce start strong

The home team came out firing, despite Barça's quick 0-5 start. By the fourth minute, it was 10-10, and Fenerbahce kept pushing, closing the half up 50-39. Barça were struggling, and were going to need to dig deep after the interval.

And that is exactly what they did, and they struck gold in the third period. The dynamic of the game utterly swung the other way, and the fightback involved some of the most inspirational basketball that we have seen from the team this season.

Amazing turnaround

Down 15 in the third (59-44), Barça flipped totally the script with a 16-23 run, cutting the gap to just four (66-62) heading into the final stretch. Parra tied it at 68-68 and put Barça ahead moments later.

Not only were Barça back in the game, but they started to boss it. Parra and Parker spearheaded the late rush, and the Catalans were +11 by minute 38.

With the home fans scratching their heads trying to work out how their big lead has suddenly turned into a big deficit, Fenerbahce made a late push, but Parker sealed it at 75-83, keeping Barça’s playoff hopes alive.
