Barça are in the hunt for the title. A victory by 89-72 over Lenovo Tenerife in the third game of their semi final play off gave Saras Jasikevicius' team a 2-1 win overall and a place in the final against Real Madrid starting on Sunday at 6.30pm CEST.
After a tight start, Barça took a 17-12 lead after just 5 minutes with Davies, Mirotic and Gasol the main men. In the second period the blaugranes extended their lead to 46-39 at half time thanks to 11 points from Pau Gasol.
Defensive intensity
In the second half the blaugranes called upon their excellent defensive capabilities to take a 68-50 lead at the end of the third quarter. That strength carried on into the fourth quarter and allowed them to carry out an 89-72 win to set up a final against eternal rivals Real Madrid.
