Víctor Claver is staying at Barça for three more seasons until 30 June 2022 after the club and the Valencian reached an agreement for the forward to stay after proving his worth both on and off the court.
Claver came to Barça in 2016/17 and has played 204 games in all competitions since then. A true team player, versatile and incisive, he is strong on offence and defence, and has been a regular under every coach he has played under.
In a year and half with Svetislav Pesic in charge, he has had a fine season, starting 35 of the 42 games in the ACB and 25 out of 35 in the Euroleague, averaging 21 minutes and 5.5 points, while playing 21 minutes and averaging 5.3 points in Europe.
In three years at Barça, Claver has won the Copa del Rey twice (2018 and 2019).
