Martina Fernández will be at Everton until the end of the 2024/25 season. The 20 year old Catalan defender has extended her contract with Barça until 30 June 2026, but will be spending the next half year in Liverpool at the club currently ninth in the Women’s Super League.

She made her debut in 2021/22, but it was in the 2023/24 season that she really became an established part of the first team. Under Jonatan Giráldez, Martina played 22 games, starting 12 matches in the Liga F.
But 2024/25 has not been an easy one for Fernández. Since the summer she missed three months of football while recovering from a meniscus injury. And just two games after having coming back, she suffered a knee injury that kept her side-lined for a further month and a half.
