BIHUB to expand educational options after almost 9000 students involved worldwide last season

Another commitment to education by Barça Innovation Hub (BIHUB), who aim to use it as a vehicle to make the institution's know-how and latest developments in sports science and sporting management available to the professional community. Their range of educational options have been garnering international prestige for years, with almost 9000 students involved worldwide last season, whether in-person or remotely.

With the goal of offering appealing quality options, BIHUB begin the 2024/25 academic year with new developments by adding nine specialised educational programs and creating a new product in Executive Programs.

Sporting management and health-related education

When it comes to specialised training programs, the range on offer includes recently added courses that cover from Sporting Management or Digital Transformation through to educational options linked to health, such as physiotherapy or health and sporting performance among women.

The Executive Programs are another new development in the form of intensive specialised courses taught by the Club's professionals and well-known experts in the sports sector. They are designed to give professional advanced skills in specific management areas. For example, the first course of its type will be on negotiation and legal skills under the guidance of the FC Barcelona legal department.

Agreements with prestigious universities worldwide

These new additions join the existing options in the BIHUB e-learning platform, which contains over 80 online programs on sporting performance, tactical analysis, marketing management, scouting, business intelligence and so on. In addition to this online school, the BIHUB also regularly schedules educational events for groups of executives, international students, and football coaches, which involve becoming steeped in the Club's day to day activities and the pillars that sustain the FC Barcelona operating methodology.

This entire educational offer has been made possible thanks to collaboration with prestigious educational centres, such as Universidad de Barcelona, ​​Blanquerna-Universidad Ramon Llull and INEFC, among others. Furthermore, a number of institutions have incorporated BIHUB courses into their educational ecosystem, such as the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol, ​Universidad Área Andina (Colombia) or Universidad de las Américas (Ecuador), among others.
