The future Spotify Camp Nou project features at the Coliseum Summit Europe in London

The Spotify Camp Nou project, its current progress and the main features of the Espai Barça were presented at the Coliseum Summit Europe, an even organised by Global Sports Venue Alliance taking place on 26 and 27 March at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. The international congress looks at the latest trends and opportunities in stadium and arena construction and at the event FC Barcelona was represented by Raul Alvarez, the figure in charge of the Technical Area of the Espai Barça project. 

In his appearance at the congress, Alvarez spoke about the technical aspects of the project, explaining the current state of progress in construction and some of the main details of the new space in the centre of Barcelona which will become an architectural reference point for the city and beyond. The Barça representative went into detail about Espai Barça and the transformation it will bring about at FC Barcelona's facilities in the city neighbourhood of Les Corts. Key aspects of the project which have been considered the development of the design include integrating the stadium into the city and promoting more sustainable and socially responsible transport options with measure to protect the environment.
