UDG Tenerife 0–6 FC Barcelona: Still going strong

UDG Tenerife never really stood a chance on Sunday evening as the Barça women cruised to a 6-0 win with goals from Pina, Aitana, Bronze and hat-trick heroine Oshoala. 16 wins in 16 games and the 100th appearance for Ana Crnogorcevic round off another perfect day at the office.

Fine start

Two goals in the space of three minutes had Barça two-up after just eight minutes, and just three minutes later Oshoala already had a brace to her name. This was plain sailing for Barça, and before the first hour was up, the Nigerian was already celebrating a hat-trick. 

Just before the break, Aitana made it five. Job done with 45 minutes still to play.

Cruising home

There was further blaugrana domination after the restart, but they clearly took their feet off the pedal knowing that they already had the three points firmly secure in the bag. The only surprise was that it took until second half injury time for the lead to be extended, Lucy Bronze claiming the sixth and final goal of the game.
