Raphinha was unstoppable once again. The Brazilian winger is in outstanding form and delivered another superb performance against Sevilla, scoring a hat-trick to lead Barça to a crucial victory in their push for the La Liga title.

Third hat-trick

The three goals against the Andalusian side marked Raphinha’s third hat-trick as a Barça player. The Brazilian had previously taken the match ball home after scoring a treble against Valladolid (7–0) and another against Bayern Munich (4–1) in the Champions League. The Sevilla game was therefore his first hat-trick of the current season.

Those numbers underline the impact of Barça’s No. 11, who now has 71 goals in 173 appearances for FC Barcelona.

Neymar Jr in view

Raphinha is also edging closer to the club’s record books. He is just 13 games away from matching Neymar Jr as the fifth Brazilian with the most appearances for FC Barcelona (186 matches).

At a decisive stage of the season, the former Leeds United man continues to show he is at the peak of his powers, delivering goals and performances that electrify the Barça faithful. He now has 17 goals this season, and will be looking to add more as the campaign heads into an exciting final stretch.
