First training session in Annapolis

FC Barcelona left Orlando first thing in the morning on Wednesday and headed to Baltimore, followed by Annapolis, which will serve as the team’s home base for the remainder of the 2024 Summer tour in the United States. Just a few hours after landing in Maryland, and heading to the state capital, the team completed a training session at the United States Naval Academy.

The workout saw the players divided into two groups. One group consisted of the players who started the match against Manchester City the night before and completed a recovery session. The remaining players took part in a regular workout on the Naval Academy soccer field.

The weather in Annapolis was partly cloudy with some rain and scattered thunderstorms throughout the afternoon. Barça will train here until Saturday, when they head to New York to face Real Madrid. FC Barcelona will then return to Annapolis until next Tuesday, when they face AC Milan in Baltimore, the final clash of the summer tour.
