Sergiño Dest is in his second season at FC Barcelona, and with a lot of prominence thanks to Ronald Koeman counting on him to occupy the right side of the attack. Sometimes the left one too. His great offensive projection has helped give the team some attacking momentum, and this season he has played 32 games (26 as a starter) in which he has scored three goals and provided one assist.

In fact, against Real Sociedad, Dest made history as the first American to score a double in the league for Barça, both goals coming in the epic 1-6 away win.

He was also the first American to play El Clásico against Madrid, as well as the first to be part of the FC Barcelona first-team squad.

Despite being born in the Netherlands, he has American nationality and is an international with the American national team.
