He rose up the ranks until he started playing for Barça B.

In 1993-94, Johan Cruyff called him up to the first team for the first time for a game against Deportivo La Coruña, the league leaders at the time. The year after that he started playing for the Espanyol reserves, and after that had spells with Sabadell and Terrassain Division 2B, before giving up professional football. After retirement, he became a goalkeepers coach in the Barça academy.
