    Goalkeeper who comes to Barça from Galician club Lugo

    Born in Baku in Azerbaijan on 30 May 2003, the goalkeeper came to Barça Atlètic after a 2023/24 season with Lugo. 

    Eldar Taghizada began his career with his home town club of Neftchi Baku before signing for the Fundació Marcet in 2016 at the age of 13. As an U19 he moved to French side Clermont where he played for three seasons before joining CD Lugo for the 2023/24 which he spent with the club's B team and the first team.
